Recently, ServiceNow (company) has implemented a change in how querying within ServiceNow (software) operates. You may encounter this error message;
If you encounter this issue please email telcathelp@berkeley.edu so that we can make corrections.
When using the magnify glass to perform a query in a list or a report, you cannot do approximate searches for values -- e.g. 510642 or *642 -- the search values must be exact.
Instead, use '=' leading the value you are searching. (e.g. '=Cory' or '=100' [for a Room of '100']).
