Refresh ServiceNow Cookies

   ServiceNow stores cookies on a user's computer. These cookies automatically load predefined settings that may effect the users experience ranging from system behavior to appearance.  ServiceNow automatically updates and refreshes these cookies with certain changes beneficial to users. From time to time depending on your browser cache these changes may be delayed or may take longer to appear.  The information below gives steps by step information on how to refresh your ServiceNow cached information.

 

FireFox:

  1. Click the burger on the right-hand corner
  2. Click Options
  3. Click Privacy & Security on the left-hand side
  4. Scroll down to Cookies and Site Data
  5. Click "Manage Data...."
  6. In the search box enter ucb.service-now.com
  7. Select the cookie
  8. Click "Remove Selected"
  9. Click "Save Changes"

Chrome:

Option 1:

  1. log into environment
  2. Force Chrome to pull in new data and ignore the saved ("cached") data by using the keyboard shortcut Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac, and Ctrl+F5 on a PC. If that doesn't work go to option 2.

Option 2:

  1. In the address enter "chrome://settings/content/cookies"
  2. Click See all cookies and site data
  3. In the search section enter ucb.service-now.com
  4. Click the garbage can next to the cookie
