In the ITSM Service Now Instance and navigate to the reports. Reports -> View/Run.
Run T&M W-HOURLY_UNIX-HOURLY report (Darin's version is Platform Time by CI for Last Month Pertinent Fields)
Export to CSV by right-clicking on the report header and selecting Export -> CSV
Create a pivot table in a new sheet using the data from the downloaded report as follows:
Design the pivot table:
Subtotals -> Do not show subtotals
Report Layout -> Tabular Form
Grand Totals -> Off for Rows and Columns
Copy pivot table and paste values on a new sheet.
Sort descending on Sum of Total:
Delete rows that are 1 hour or less.
Remove services that have a space in task.cmdb_ci (the Service Name).
Subtract one hour from each remaining row. Use an Excel formula such as =C2-1.
Multiply this new column by the current W-HOURLY and UNIX-HOURLYrate ($138.00 as of 11/2022).
The services left are the services that we will recharge.
Sort by task.assignment_group.
Rename bIT UNIX to the TelCat charge code of UNIX-HOURLY
Rename bIT Windows to the TelCat charge code W-HOURLY
