Starting on May 5, 2022, Duo will start blocking access from countries or regions subject to economic and trade sanctions to comply with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
Duo will restrict access beginning May 5th, 2022 for the following locations:
Once Duo blocks service, users in these regions will see a Duo error message: "Access denied. Duo Security does not provide services in your current location." At this time, no workarounds have been identified for users in these areas, which means they will lose access to most campus services.
