Grant projects folder access.
Log into the console. https://console.cloud.google.com
In the "Search products and resources" field type "manage resources". (Hint: Using the search feature the quickest way to find products in GCP)
You can also navigate to it manually by clicking the hamburger icon (3 horizontal lines), scrolling to IAM & Admin, then selecting Manage Resources.
Navigate to and select the project folder that was created for you.
Click "SHOW INFO PANEL" if it's hidden.
In the right pane, click "ADD MEMBER".
The Project Creator and Folder Viewer role is typically added for team members.
Add Additional billing account users.
In the console click the hamburger icon then go to billing.
Select manage billing accounts.
If there are any filters in place, remove them.
Select your "bIT_<your_billing_account>"
Click manage on the upper right hand corner.
Click "SHOW INFO PANEL" if it's hidden.
In the right pane, click "ADD MEMBER".
Typical roles are Billing Account User for any team members and Billing Account Viewer for any person that needs to verify charges.
Move existing projects under the new billing account.
In the console make sure you have the project you want to switch the billing for selected.
Click the hamburger icon then go to billing.
Select "Go to linked billing".
In the left pane, click "Account management".
Click the snowman icon under actions (three vertical dots) for the project then select change billing.
Join the "bcloud-gcp-central-announce" mailing list to be notified when updates or training is available.
You can subscribe to a bConnected List by finding and joining a list from the http://bgroups.berkeley.edu home page, or by sending a subscription request to
listname+subscribe@lists.berkeley.edu, e.g. bcloud-gcp-central-announce+subscribe@lists.berkeley.edu.
