The Knowledge Search box appears on the Knowledge portal on your Homepage. Enter your search term(s) and click the magnifying glass search icon.
The search method used is "AND then OR query". This means if more than one term is entered for instance "checking email", the search engine first tries an AND query (i.e. "checking" + "email"), then does an OR query (i.e. "checking" or "email") if no matches are found.
The search results for a one word example "email" are shown below.
The articles viewed most frequently over the past 30 days (default) appear at the beginning and the least viewed articles appear at the end. Note that "email" is bold in the results.
The KB article number and information is displayed in light grey-green text at the bottom of each entry:
