How do I verify my Zoom recordings were copied to Kaltura?

A knowledge base article about How do I verify my Zoom recordings were copied to Kaltura? provided by the UC Berkeley IT Service Hub - Knowledge Portal

To verify that your Zoom cloud recordings were copied to Kaltura, you’ll want to check in your Kaltura personal media repository, which goes by the name of “My Media”. You can access My Media from either or both of two campus systems: bCourses and MediaSpace. Both require CalNet authentication.

Accessing My Media from bCourses

This is likely the way you will want to access My Media if you are a regular bCourses user.

Once you log into bCourses, you’ll find My Media in the vertical navigation bar on the left of bCourses.

Accessing My Media from MediaSpace

If you’re not a bCourses user, you can use MediaSpace. You can get to your My Media in MediaSpace by going directly to your user media

Please note that MediaSpace has not been officially launched, and support for it at this time is limited to upload, download, and sharing with UC Berkeley members.

What if I do not see my Zoom Cloud recordings in My Media?

Please review our  Frequently Asked Questions about the Zoom to Kaltura Integration. If you are sure that your recordings are in your Zoom account, and that you had a Kaltura account at the time that you recorded in Zoom, please send an email to kalturahelp@berkeley.edu, making sure to include the name and date of the recording.

If you want future Zoom recordings to go into Kaltura, see "How can I be sure if I have a Kaltura account". (Note that you also must be using UC Berkeley's Zoom instance, https://berkeley.zoom.us/(link is external, to do your recording.)
