How to Log In to Poll Everywhere Using CalNet Authentication

Starting January 6, 2025, all Poll Everywhere users at Berkeley will log in via CalNet authentication. This ensures secure and seamless access to your account under the Berkeley enterprise license. Follow the steps below to log in for the first time. 

 

Step 1: Go to the Poll Everywhere Login Page

1. Open your browser and navigate to the Poll Everywhere website: www.polleverywhere.com.
2. Click on the "Log In" button at the top-right corner of the page.

 

Step 2: Select "Log in with Berkeley"

1. On the login screen, enter your @berkeley.edu email address
2. Click on Next.
3. The Next button should change to “Log in with Berkeley”

 

Step 3: Authenticate with CalNet

1. You will be redirected to the CalNet Authentication Service.
2. Enter your CalNet ID and password.
3. Complete Duo Multi-Factor Authentication (if enabled).

 

Step 4: Access Your Poll Everywhere Dashboard

After successful authentication, you will be redirected to your Poll Everywhere dashboard, where you can access your polls, courses, and other features.

 

FAQs

What if I don’t see the CalNet login option?
Make sure that you enter your valid @berkeley.edu email address and the login page should automatically change the button to “Login with Berkeley”

I used a different email for Poll Everywhere before. Will my data be retained?
Yes! During the migration, your existing account data and all information on your activities will be retained.
