Berkeley IT is currently piloting Duo Desktop; it is only available to pilot users at this time.
If you do not see Duo Desktop in Self Service, email itcshelp@berkeley.edu. Include that you are trying to install Duo Desktop, but the application is not available in Self Service.
On a Windows computer
- Go to the BigFix Self Service Application on your computer (instruction for wow to access BigFix Support Center with screenshots)
- Search for the “Duo Desktop” offer
- Click Accept
On an Apple computer
- Open the Self Service app (Finder window > Applications > Self Service)
- Search for the “Duo Desktop” offer and click Install
On a Linux computer

Please note that Duo Desktop security checks require the latest Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge browser. If you are running Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) it may be identified as out of date and fail security checks. In that case, you can either install non-ESR alongside ESR or use a different browser when accessing applications that require Duo Desktop.
