Importing a contact list into Thunderbird after having exported from another source such as gmail.
Open your Thunderbird email client.
Tasks to be performed
- Navigate to Thunderbird> Address Book
2. Navigate to Tools.
3.. Select Import.
4. Choose Address Books.
5. Click Next
6. Select appropriate file type to be imported.
7. Click Next
8.Specify desired format

9. Select desired file and click Open
10. Select Data for Contact records. You may also arrange order of data fields here.
11. Click OK
12. You will be notified of successful import. Click Finish
You may now use this contact list in Thunderbird Address Book
