If you need to edit your time card for a task, make note of the following:
- If you manually edit the summary values on the time card record, your changes will be overwritten by the system if you log more work against the task referenced by the time card.
- Editing your time card will not update the total effort listed on incidents. There is a platform limitation wherein timecard updates do not reflect back on incidents.
To edit your time card:
- Navigate to the "Time Card" application in the menu
- Under "My Time Cards" click on "Current" to view your time cards for this week's work
-OR-
Under "My Time Cards" click on "All" to view all of the time cards for your account
- Open the time card in question
- In the related list at the bottom of the form, open the incorrect task time worked entry.
- Edit the time value for the record and save.
