How do I restore the CalPlanning SmartView tab in Excel / Office 2010?

If the SmartView tab has disappeared, the addin may have been automatically disabled by Excel / Office 2010 due to a crash or misc. performance issue.

To troubleshoot / restore the tab in Excel / Office:

1. Open Excel.
2. Click on File in the top left corner.
   • 
3. Click on Options
   • 
4. Click on Add-ins.
   • 
5. Near the bottom of the Add-in pane, locate Manage: near the bottom.
   • Click on the drop down menu to the immediate right of Manage:
   • Select Disabled Items.
   • Click on the Go button.
   • 
6. In the Disabled Items menu, look for any references to the following:
   • Oracle
   • Hyperion
   • Smart View
   • 
7. Select any items which references the above.
8. Click the Enable button.
9. Close and restart Excel. 

The SmartView tab should reappear.
