How to Remove Delegated Access from a SPA
SPA direct members have the ability to remove indirect members (users who have been granted delegated access to the email inbox). Removing these users revokes their ability to read or send email on behalf of the account.
Login Requirement: To perform these steps, you must be logged into bMail directly as the SPA (using the +YourCalNetID method). You will not see these settings if you are logged in as your personal account.
Steps to Remove a Delegated User
- Open an incognito or private browser window and log in to bmail.berkeley.edu as the SPA.
- Select the Settings (gear) icon in the top right corner.
- Select "See all settings."
- Click on the "Accounts" tab.
- Scroll down to the "Grant access to your account" section.
- Locate the user you wish to remove and select "Delete" next to their name.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
