How do I upload videos from Kaltura Capture to My Media?

You may Upload (in the case you have never uploaded your recording to your My Media before) or Re-Upload Kaltura Capture recordings to My Media. 

  1. Launch the Kaltura Capture desktop application.
  2. Click Manage in the recording tool bar.

  3. Scroll down in your Library to find the recording you wish to Upload or Re-Upload. Click Upload or Re-Upload next to the video's title.

  4. Afterwards, the button will be replaced by "Pending" and a status bar indicating the progress on uploading your video will appear. A window should appear at the top right of your screen indicating that your video has begun uploading.

  5. When your video is done uploading, a window should appear at the top right of your screen to indicate that it is done uploading.

How do I delete videos from my Local Kaltura Capture library?

Once you have uploaded your videos to your My Media, there is no reason to keep them locally. Follow the steps below to delete them.

  1. Follow steps 1 and 2 of the prior section to access the Manage page of Kaltura Capture.
  2. Either use Delete buttons to delete certain videos, or select Delete all uploaded files to delete all uploaded files.

  3. A confirmation window will pop up, select Yes, Delete to confirm the deletion.
