How do I enable Zoom Cloud recordings?

Zoom Cloud Recordings are now only copied to Kaltura if the Zoom user has enabled the Zoom to Kaltura integration. To learn more about the integration, see the Zoom to Kaltura Frequently Asked Questions page 

Effective January 6, 2021

Zoom Cloud Recordings have been turned off by default as part of the launch of the integration between Zoom and the campus’s Kaltura video management service. If you would like to be able to record to Zoom Cloud, you will need to make sure that the cloud recordings setting is still enabled in your Zoom account. 

To re-enable Zoom Cloud Recordings

  1. Navigate to Zoom meeting settings
  2. Toggle on Cloud recording switch image showing how to click Turn On button
  3. Press Turn On button image showing how to click Turn On button
  4. Cloud recording option will be turned back on image showing cloud recording has been turned On

 

Now Cloud Recording has been enabled for your account, you will be able to use the Cloud Recording option during your meetings. 

How to record during your meeting

1. When you are ready to record your meeting, make sure to click the Record button

click the record button

2. To record to the Cloud, choose Record to the Cloud

click the record to the cloud option

 

3. In the upper left corner it will show you that recording to the cloud is in progress
