How do I edit files from within the Box web application?

Files can be edited directly within the Box web application (similar to Google Drive or bDrive) by installing an addon called Box Edit.

To install the Box Edit addon:

  1. Navigate to berkeley.box.com/
  2. Click on the Continue button in the right hand portion of the screen.
    • If prompted with the CalNet Authentication Screen, log in with your CalNetID and passphrase.
  3. Navigate to the Box Knowledge Base article, Box Edit Overview.
  4. Follow the procedures as applicable.
