How to Sign In to YouTube as a Special Purpose Account (SPA)

To use YouTube with a Special Purpose Account, you must first authenticate into the SPA's Google workspace in a separate browser session.

  1. Open an incognito browser window and navigate to https://bmail.berkeley.edu.
  2. Sign in using your SPA credentials (KB0010483).
  3. Once you are logged in to the SPA's bMail inbox, open a new tab in that same incognito window and go to youtube.com.
  4. Click the SIGN IN button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
  5. YouTube will automatically detect the SPA session and log you in. You can now proceed to manage the SPA's channel or playlists.
