How can I tell if Duo Desktop is installed on my computer?

On a Windows computer

There are a variety of ways to tell if Duo Desktop is installed on your Windows computer:

  1. Look to see if you have the Duo icon in your taskbar:  Duo Icon
  2. Open Task Manager, click on Processes, and search for Duo. You will see Duo Desktop listed in the background processes section.Duo searched up in the task manager within processes section with Duo popping up in the background processes section

    3. Click the Start Menu and search for Duo Desktop.

On an Apple computer

  1. Look to see if you have the Duo icon in the apps menu at the very top right of the main menu bar.

2. The Duo Desktop app is also located in the Applications folder (Finder window > Applications > Duo Desktop)
