Filters. Creating a Simple Filter

Users can use this procedure to save a search performed as a filter accessible to them in the Workflow Process pane and the Document Views pane of ImageNow Explorer. 

  1. In ImageNow Explorer, in the Views pane, select the view you want to use as a basis for your filter. This view could be found under the Documents\All Documents section or under the actual Workflow process queue
  2. In the right pane, define your quick search as follows:
    1. In the property list (first drop-down field), select the workflow item property, document key, folder property, or custom property to use.
    2. In the operator list (second drop-down field), select an operator to use in the comparison.
    3. In the value box (third drop-down field), select or type a value.
  3. Click the Go button.
  4. If the search returned the results you want or it works the way you have planned, click the Save private filter button. If not, refine your search and then repeat this step.
  5. In the Save Filter dialog box, type a name and an optional description for the filter and then click OK.
