A knowledge base article about Event Management Systems (EMS) provided by the UC Berkeley IT Service Hub - Knowledge Portal
Is a resource management software used by ASUC to plan events. In order to access the system a customer must have been granted the following.
In ASUC, and other departments managed by SAIT, EMS is provided through App-v. Submit a request to WinSys in SAIT with the CalNet ID and workstation name. Once the customer's AD object has been added to the RSSP-Appv EMSClient-gs group they should be able to gain access to the software. A reboot may be required to refresh the App-v offerings.
Outside of SAIT managed departments you can install the EMS software locally. Simply request the installer from Dan when submitting a request for access.

From subnets managed by SAIT addresses are provided by Fixed DHCP assigned to the MAC address of a computer. For subnets outside of SAIT customer's workstations should be either configured to Static or granted a Fixed DHCP address. Submit this address to Dan when requesting access to EMS as he will need to check the firewall to grant access to this IP (or subnet).
Dan Williams is currently managing access to the Event Management Systems server. In addition to accounts he manages the firewall that the server is behind. Submit requests to him directly including the customer's name, CalNet ID and IP address.
