Clearing Stuck Batches from the Batch Grid

A knowledge base article about Clearing Stuck Batches from the Batch Grid provided by the UC Berkeley IT Service Hub - Knowledge Portal

Batches occasionally become stuck in the Batch Grid in a Step/State of Link/In Process. The reason this occurs is currently being investigated by Hyland. In the meantime, to clear these stuck batches, the following workaround can be used

  1. From the Batch grid, make a note of the Batch Sequence Number, then right click on a stuck Batch and select Properties
  2. Change the Step to 'Scan', then change the State to 'Completed', then click OK
  3. Open the Batch you just modified, then click Commit this batch in the upper left-hand side of the Batch Viewer

The Batch will close automatically. If you refresh the Batch grid you will see that this Batch begins to process out of the Batch grid. Repeat these steps for any Batches stuck in the Batch grid with a Step/State of Link/In Process.
