This article will deal with A/V equipment instructions for Li Ka Shing Auditorium.
Touch the AMX screen to turn on the projection system. There is one large center screen and two side screens that display a second source. Use the touch panel to select the screen and the desired source.
Computer Display

| Securely connect the VGA cable to the control panel nd your computer. |
| ***Older PCs can directly connect to the VGA cable, some may require an adapter |
| ***Macs require a VGA adapter in order to connect to the VGA cable |
| ***There is also a HDMI cable that can be used if your laptop has the appropriate output |
| 2.Press the corresponding "Laptop" input button on the touch panel. |
| 3.The optimal display setting on your computer is 1200 x 800 (60Hz). |
| Under the Apple icon click System Preferences |
| Click Display |
| Click Detect Displays |
| Click on Arrangement Tab and Click Mirror Display |
| If the computer will not display, unplug the Mac adapter while plugged into the AV system. Upon reconnecting the mac adapter, the laptop should recognize the external display. |
PC Display (F) Keys
Toggle between the different presentation modes by pressing both the Fn and specific F key at the same time slowly until you find a suitable display option. Computers typically have three presentation modes which cycle from the laptop screen only, the projector only or both simultaneously.
The mini cable at the lectern is used to play audio (see photo above). Plug it into the headphone port on your computer or mobile device.
The volume control is on the AMX touch panel. There is also a "mute" button next to the volume slider. The volume on the computer or device must also be turned up.
TIP: The remote is located in the lectern.
NOTE: The installed Blu-ray DVD player only plays DVDs. There is no VCR in this room and no Auxiliary Video Display capabilities.
Turn OFF the system power on the touch screen.
