Change in Telecom Installation Service Level Objectives

U.C. Office of the President has mandated that IST-Telecom change some business processes when we engage contractors for Telecom installation work.

 

Data network or phone line installations where a new wall jack/cable needs to be installed will now require an extra 4 rather than 2 weeks to complete.  Field conditions will determine the actual time required.  This means, for example, that a new data network connection may take up to 6 weeks to install (2 weeks standard delivery time, plus 4 weeks for cable installation).  

 

Please make a note of this new duration and incorporate the extra time into your planning starting March 1, 2018.
