bCourses allows instructors to hide calculated totals from students. When this feature is enabled, students can still see their grades for individual activities, but will not see a calculated overall grade for the course. This can support instructors who may only capture some graded activities in bCourses, so that students are not displayed an incomplete or incorrect overall course grade.
