Can I get local administrative rights on my IST managed Windows server?

There may be some instances where a shadow session or restricted RDP access isn't appropriate.  In these cases you can request local administrative access to your server.  Requests should be sent to win-ticket@berkeley.edu

Once you are given access you can connect to your server by using a remote desktop connection.  Enter the fully qualified domain name or IP address into the Computer field.  The user name will either be your CalNet ID or pvt account in one of the following formats, CAMPUS\<username> or <username>@campus.berkeley.edu.
