How to Block or Unblock Phone Numbers for Duo

If you are not receiving Duo phone calls, it is possible your device has blocked the Duo phone number. Follow the steps below to manage blocked numbers on your smartphone.

iPhone

  1. Go to the Settings app from your Home screen.
  2. Tap on Phone, Messages, or FaceTime. (Any of these three sections will work).
  3. If you chose Phone, tap Call Blocking & Identification. If you chose Messages or FaceTime, tap Blocked.
  4. Tap Edit in the upper right corner of your screen.
  5. Tap the minus button (red circle) next to the number or email address you'd like to unblock.
  6. Tap Unblock.

Block a number

  1. Open your device's Phone app Phone icon.
  2. Tap Call history Recents icon.
  3. Tap a call from the number you want to block.
  4. Tap Block / report spam.

Note: If your phone doesn't have visual voicemail, you could still get voicemails from blocked callers.

Unblock a number

  1. Open your device's Phone app Phone icon.
  2. Tap More More options icon.
  3. Tap Settings > Blocked numbers.
  4. Next to the number you want to unblock, tap Clear Clear icon > Unblock.

If you cannot find a Duo number to unblock, please register another verification method (KB0011939) such as Duo Mobile, text messages, or backup passcodes.
