Certain uses of a UC Berkeley Enterprise Box account do not support the use of ones CalNetID / Single Sign On. Such functions include:

To use these applications, a Box external password will need to be created.

To create an external Box password:

  1. Navigate to berkeley.box.com/
  2. Click on the Continue button to log in.
    • If prompted by the CalNet Authentication Screen, enter your CalNetID and passphrase.
  3. Refer to official Box instructions: Box + SSO: Working with External Passwords
  4. Create the external password as applicable.
