If you are an alum and do not already have an active @berkeley.edu email account, you are not eligible for an alumni email account, even if you had one previously.

UC Berkeley volunteers who require a @berkeley.edu email address to collaborate on projects or programs need an Affiliate or Volunteer appointment via the campus HR system, which is separate from this alumni exception process.
