How do I obtain access to BearBuy?

Depending on your current appointment status at UC Berkeley (whether your a graduate student, work study, employee, etc) the ability to request access may vary, however for Staff / Faculty, access rights are automatically granted upon employment.

Before you begin:

• If you haven't done so, navigate to BearBuy and note if access is possible.

• Graduate Students that are listed as inactive will either:
  • Need to be set up by the department as an affiliate 
  • Be reactivated as a grad-student.
• Faculty and staff will need to be listed in HCM as a current employee.
• Student employees will need to be listed as a current employee in HCM.
