A knowledge base article about Add/Remove yourself from CAB groups provided by the UC Berkeley IT Service Hub - Knowledge Portal
The Berkeley IT Change Advisory Board (CAB) leverages two separate groups. This article will provide instructions on how to add and/or remove yourself from each group.
The Google Group referred to as "changeboard" (changeboard@lists.berkeley.edu) is used to put the recurring meetings on calendars to hold the date/times that CAB will be meeting. This group is needed since ServiceNow does not send meeting invites in advance of the CAB meeting.
The ServiceNow group called "Berkeley CAB Members" receives the day-of CAB meeting invites. These invites are generally sent around noon since that is currently when the CAB agenda is finalized. This group also receives access to the dashboard called "CAB Changeboard", which is helpful to view recently completed changes, approved changes, changes pending CAB approval, and emergency changes.
