Activate Follow Me (Availability) on my Cal Voicemail

A knowledge base article about Activate Follow Me (Availability) on my Cal Voicemail provided by the UC Berkeley IT Service Hub - Knowledge Portal

If you would like to use this service, your department can open a request on the Telecom Catalog to enable your access.

Submit a Change Service Request in the Telecom Catalog system requesting bIT-Telecom to configure your voicemail box so you will be able to use the instructions below to activate the Follow Me (Availability) service.  If you cannot finalize the request, please enter an approver from your department.

Follow Me (Availability) service gives your callers the option of reaching you live, at a number of your choice, rather than leaving a voicemail message for you in your Cal Voicemail. Your numbers remain private, are set up by you, and use a schedule with days and hours that you decide. Calls you choose not to answer, or are unable to answer, return to your Cal Voicemail so your callers can leave a message for you.
