Overview
The ServiceNow 9.17.0 release is planned for Tuesday, October 6, 2020, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
New
- Platform - The approved list of people who have Essential Access to campus during COVID-19 has been moved from a Google Sheet to being stored in a new application within ServiceNow. This automated process will streamline business processes and improve data accuracy. Please refer to the following Knowledge Base article for more details KB0013774.
Updates
- Incident Management - Email notification to closed incidents has been updated to include IT Client Service desk in the body of the email.
- Problem Management - Priority field is now read-only and is set based upon urgency/impact.
Fixes
- Incident Management - Replying to the email notifying users of incident resolution resulted in the incident closing . This has been fixed to not close the incident but to change the status to customer reopened.
