How do I record Kaltura videos with an iPad?

If you would like to record a short video on an iOS device (iPad or iPhone), using only camera and microphone,  please use the following method. The video must be 10 minutes or shorter; Kaltura stops the recording after 10 minutes.

Please note that this method is only recommended for iPads and iPhones, as an alternative to using Express Capture (which does not work reliably on iOS). Recording videos on an iPad

1. Access My Media through any bCourses site.
2. From the Add New dropdown menu (typically at the top right corner), choose Media Upload.
3. Select Choose a file to upload and select Take a Photo or Video from the dropdown menu.
4. Record your video, and after you finish recording select Use Video.
5. Scroll to the bottom and select Save to save and upload your video to Kaltura.
