How do I record Kaltura videos with an iPad?

A knowledge base article about How do I record Kaltura videos with an iPad? provided by the UC Berkeley IT Service Hub - Knowledge Portal

If you would like to record a short video on an iOS device (iPad or iPhone), using only camera and microphone,  please use the following method. The video must be 10 minutes or shorter; Kaltura stops the recording after 10 minutes.

Please note that this method is only recommended for iPads and iPhones, as an alternative to using Express Capture (which does not work reliably on iOS). If you are recording a short video from a computer or an Android device, you may use Express Capture. Please see How do I record short webcam videos with Express Capture?
