Yes, we allow users to take financial responsibility for their phone number. We only are able to release the number with the current carrier the number is on. To request to take over your cell phone number a request must be submitted within the IST Telecom Catalog using the Disconnect an Existing Voice Service Request form. Within the request in the description box please include that you wish to take over financial responsibility for your phone number. Once the request has been received we will approve the number to be released. To complete the process you will then need to call the carrier or go into a store location.
