Every department has a designated person who, for auditing purposes, receives an email notification whenever expenditures are entered against that department's chart-strings. In this case, the 'department' is the L4 (level 4) department. This level of audit allows the authorized signature person to intercept and cancel unwanted or un-approved service requests. Email notifications include: new Service Requests for Add/Change/Move/Disconnect, service ownership changes and funding changes.
