The Home page in bCourses is the landing or first page that everyone sees when they first enter a course site. When users click "Home" in the course navigation menu, it takes them to this page.
Some instructors want to use this space for a "welcome" message to their students that includes a short description of the course, as well as their office hours and class meeting times. Below is an example of a welcome page in bCourses:
