Accessing a SPA-Affiliated bMail Account
Users must be granted explicit access to a Special Purpose Account (SPA) before they can sign in to the affiliated bMail account. Please follow the instructions below based on your access level.
- Delegated Access: To set up access to an email account for another user, see: How to Delegate Access to your SPA bMail Account (KB0015445).
- Direct Membership: To give a user full administrative access to a SPA, you can add them as a direct member in CalGroups (KB0015444).
How to Log In
For Users with Delegated Access
Users with delegated access can open the SPA bMail account directly from their personal inbox:
- Log in to your personal bMail account.
- Click on the round Account icon in the upper right corner (this usually contains your profile picture or initials).
- Select the SPA email address from the drop-down menu that appears below your account info.
For Direct Members
Direct members can log in to the SPA bMail account using the "Plus" login method (+YourID). For step-by-step instructions, see: Log in to the SPA as a Direct Member (KB0014215).
