The Other Data Networking Service Request should only be used for requests that are outside the normal scope of data network service, for example unusual research requirements that can't be met with normal network services.  Appropriate requests for this item include network services that exceed the capacity of the current campus standard, or that are requiring a different application of network technology than is available otherwise.  To avoid delays in getting your request fulfilled, check that what you are asking for is not already on another catalog form.  Normal services handled in other request forms include campus standard connectivity (activations, inactivations, subnet changes), campus firewall services, campus VPN, moving a network to a different location, or requesting a new subnet.

To have a member of our NOS (Network Operations and Services) team contact you for consultation, please provide the details of your requirements in the comments box when entering a request.
