Course Navigation Menu Visibility

The Course Navigation Menu is a series of links on the left side of your course that help you and your students access different course areas. As an instructor, you can control which links appear in Course Navigation and which ones are hidden from students.

Links that are hidden to students are indicated by the Visibility icon ("eyecon"). A link may be hidden to students because the feature area has no content or because the link is disabled.

Please note the hidden visibility "eyecon" is not available for third-party integrations (LTIs). Some external tools are only available to instructors—not students. Examples include:
