Several steps can be taken to secure ones laptop or smartphone to keep unauthorized parties from accessing Box files on the device.

To secure a cellphone or laptop:

  1. Open / access the device.
  2. Navigate to the UC Berkeley Security article, Box Sync Guidelines. 
  3. Apply the procedures as applicable.
