Columns in the bCourses Gradebook are created when an assignment has been created and published. This means that all columns in the Gradebook correspond to an assignment. For instructions on how to create an assignment, please see these Canvas Guides:
Even if the assignment will be submitted on paper during class time, you will still need to create and publish an Assignment in bCourses so that a corresponding column is made in the Gradebook. For these assignments, choose the submission type "On Paper."
Once the assignment has been created, you can use the Speedgrader or go directly to the Gradebook to enter grades.
