Open Berkeley
Open Berkeley is a complete web publishing turnkey solution that includes hosting, site spin-up, training, site launch, security, accessibility, privacy, and maintenance updates, branding, new features, and ongoing support. Campus employees with no prior web experience can use Open Berkeley's powerful toolset to easily build sophisticated websites, and customers can rely on Open Berkeley to provide critical solutions to ongoing security, accessibility, privacy, and maintenance issues.
Web Hosting (Pantheon)
A managed solution with tools to build and maintain Drupal and WordPress-based websites and applications. Berkeley IT has partnered with San Francisco-based Pantheon to provide hosting plans, development tools, enterprise-grade security, and support for web hosting.
Basic Web Hosting (Windows)
A basic, static hosting solution with no tools to build or maintain websites and applications. This service offers a secure, fast, and reliable web hosting solution intended for faculty and staff with web technology expertise who want to develop and manage their own website. Berkeley IT maintains the hardware and hypervisor layers of each website and allows local administration to monitor and maintain their own web pages and applications.
Google Sites
Google Sites allows you to create a simple personal website, wiki, or project site without any prior programming or design skills. With an intuitive drag-and-drop interface, you can work alone or collaborate with others to build your website in a short amount of time. Sites is fully integrated with Google Drive and can be created from the Sites homepage or within Drive.
