A service overview and catalog of Google Sites provided by the UC Berkeley IT Service Hub.

Description

Google Sites allows you to create a simple personal website, wiki, or project site without any prior programming or design skills. With an intuitive drag-and-drop interface, you can work alone or collaborate with others to build your website in a short amount of time. Sites is fully integrated with Google Drive and can be created from the Sites homepage or within Drive.

Available 24/7. Support is provided Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PT, excluding University holidays and curtailment periods.

There are no direct costs associated with this service.

Data Classification

This service is rated for P1 for public sites and P3 data with authentication enabled (leveraging Google's sharing permissions) .

Compliance: Users are responsible for ensuring data handled within this service complies with the Data and IT Resource Classification Standards.
