Description

ArcGIS, developed by Esri, is a leading geographic information system (GIS) software platform designed for mapping, spatial analysis, and data management. It enables users to create, visualize, and analyze data with a locational component to inform decision-making, covering desktop, online, and mobile applications. ArcGIS is widely used across various industries, including government, business, and science, to improve efficiency and make data-driven decisions.

Service Details

Eligibility	This service is available to Faculty, Staff, and Students for UC Berkeley department members who have participated and contributed to the Consortium.
Contact	For troubleshooting or reporting a service interruption, please email esri-support@berkeley.edu.
Availability	Available 24/7. Support is provided Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PT, excluding University holidays and curtailment periods.
Cost	Varies based on the number of participants in the consortium (~$1,624 for2026-2027) The Streetmaps add-on is available at additional cost (~$1,000 for 2026-2027)
Data Classification	This service is rated for P3 and A3. See the Data and IT Resource Classification Standards for details.
