Description

The Azure Public Cloud Service provides UC Berkeley faculty, staff, and other affiliated researchers access to computing resources from approved vendors that have agreements in place with the University of California. This is considered a self-service cloud offering, as you are expected to engage with the provider and manage your environment yourself.

Available 24/7. Internal support is provided Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PT, excluding University holidays and curtailment periods.

Data Classification

This service is rated for Protection Level P4,  Availability Level A4, and Recovery Level R5 data.

Compliance: Users are responsible for ensuring data handled within this service complies with the Data and IT Resource Classification Standards.
