Description

Prisma Cloud is Palo Alto Networks' security solution that provides Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and Cloud Workload Protection (CWP) components.

This is a self-service cloud offering that can be used to monitor cloud environments to inventory and track deployments, find configuration mistakes, and provide additional insight into attacker activity. It also supplies a single interface to evaluate the cloud environments, including multi- and hybrid-cloud configurations, against established policies and best practices.

Identifies configuration mistakes and security non-conformances, allowing cloud account owners to maintain a secure baseline even during active deployment through real-time visibility into cloud environments.
Extends campus-level security into the cloud by providing continuous vulnerability assessments, authenticated scans, and intrusion detection (IDS).
Helps departments meet mandatory campus requirements (like MSSEI and MSSND).

Eligibility	This service is available to technologists who manage cloud services (AWS, GCP and Azure) on campus.

Availability	Available 24/7. Support is provided Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PT, excluding University holidays and curtailment periods.
Cost	There are no direct costs associated with this service.
