Berkeley Security Software (BSS) provides a suite of cybersecurity tools designed to protect UC Berkeley's information assets and IT infrastructure. Having the software ensures compliance with UC system-wide cybersecurity standards while reducing the time and resources needed to respond to cyberattacks.
If you have business needs that prevent the installation of EDR, you will need to request an exception.
Note: This software is intended for use on university-owned computers that do not have the Berkeley Desktop installed.
