Description

Berkeley IT can help you configure printers and multifunction print/scan devices. Additional requests (such as address book management) and hardware repair for print/scan devices are not supported.

This service is available to Faculty,  Staff,  and Affiliates

Technical Support: For troubleshooting a printer connection, please report an issue, or call the Service Desk at 510-664-9000.

Request the Service: For Berkeley Desktop computers, please connect to the self-service printer installer. For all other assistance, please submit a printer request.

Availability

Available 24/7. Support is provided Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PT, excluding University holidays and curtailment periods.

Cost

There are no direct costs associated with this service.

Data Classification

Berkeley IT staff follow security policy when working on any printing device. The printer owner is responsible for meeting data classification requirements for the printer.

Compliance: Users are responsible for ensuring data handled within this service complies with the Data and IT Resource Classification Standards.
