UCPath Campus Operations

A service overview and catalog of UCPath Campus Operations provided by the UC Berkeley IT Service Hub.

Description

The primary UCPath service is external to the UC Berkeley campus. Please visit the Berkeley UCPath website for inquiries and requests for assistance.

UCPath System

UCPath is the University of California’s payroll, benefits, human resources and academic personnel system for all UC employees. The UCPath system is used at every UC location, including campuses, medical centers, research centers, and the UC Office of the President (UCOP).

UCPath at Berkeley

UCPath at Berkeley is primarily supported by the UCPath Operations team. While the UCPath Operations team is the main team at Berkeley dedicated to supporting the UCPath system, the Ops team works closely with many partners across campus. View the Support Contacts page for a list of groups involved with UCPath at Berkeley, including who to contact for help with various issues.

Local Technical Services

Members of the UC Berkeley service support team work with Berkeley IT to support technical services, including local data repositories, data integrations, and projects coordinated with the UCPath Center.

UC Berkeley offers several HR and UCPATH APIs that enable downstream systems to integrate with the UCPath data. The HR APIs include the Employees API, Jobcode API, Position API, and Department API. These APIs provide access to data related to job codes, positions, departments, personnel and job information.

UCPath APIs have real time integration with various systems like UCPath, Calnet, BCS, SARA, etc.

For more information, refer to the API Developer Portal.
