Getting Started
This system goes live in July of 2026.
Eligible employees that have an active appointment in the UCPath HR system with an employee ID are required to report hours worked and or leave taken are automatically imported and granted access to the timekeeping system once
Eligible employees are all employees excluding the following
- Non academic accruing job titles
- Employees that are using the “TRS” timekeeping system (insert link)
- Individuals that do not receive pay for services conducted as an employee (i.e. volunteers etc)

- Once an employee has been provided their employee ID from HR, they should be able to login to the timekeeping system (CalKronos).
- No action is needed to terminate employee or supervisor access. Updates to the employees employment status and assigned supervisor in the UCPath HR system will automatically import overnight to TRS and update the system accordingly.
